SPECIAL SUPPORTLAND TIDBIT
-Secret Aardvark is a portland made condiment sauce that can be put on everything! I discovered it at a little breakfast and lunch joint called The Detour Cafe on SE Division street and it has been a staple in our Fridge ever since! I put it on fish sticks! I put it in Pizza Sauce! I even put it in Tuna Fish Casserole! I have read that a fresh shucked oyster in one hand and a bottle of Secret Aardvark is a blissful combination!
-Eddie, from NBC’s hit show GRIMM uses Secret Aardvark on last weeks episode!
-They also make a Drunken Jerk sauce and a Black Bean sauce, but to these taste-buds, the Jabanero Hot Sauce is the tops.
-Hello, Salsa is a new comer to my condiment shelf in the fridge. They have one Salsa and it name is PERFECT! They call it “Kinda Spicy” and that is exactly what it is. It has the perfect blend of tomatoes and vegetables along with peppers and zest. It is GREAT on beans and rice. It is GREAT with chips, and it is MASTERFUL on a warm nacho with some sour cream and Guac! You can get this perfect salsa, AND the secret Aardvark at just about every New Seasons and Whole Foods around here. I am starting the see the Aardvark all over though! So jump on board with these two and make your own perfect Portland Scrambles!
AND for no particular reason…I thought you all needed this… The song Hello, originally by Lionel Ritchie redone salsa style…The video is intoxicating…It is like very bad Karaoke background video…
